Frequently Asked Questions

Can I remove multiple pages at once? +
Yes — enter a comma-separated list like '1, 3, 5-8, 12' to remove pages 1, 3, 5 through 8, and 12 in one operation. Ranges use a dash (e.g., 5-8). The remaining pages keep their original order and content.
What happens to page numbers after removing pages? +
The physical page order is re-numbered sequentially. If you had a 20-page PDF and removed pages 3 and 7, you end up with an 18-page PDF where original page 4 becomes page 3, and so on. Any page numbers printed in the document's text or headers won't change — only the physical page position changes.
Can I undo a page removal? +
Not within this tool, but you still have the original file unchanged on your device since we never modified it. To get back to the original, simply use your original file again. We process a copy entirely in your browser and only give you the output when you download.
Will removing pages from a large PDF affect quality? +
No — we remove the unwanted page streams and rebuild the PDF structure. The remaining pages are byte-identical to the originals. File size decreases proportionally to the pages removed.
